About
Christopher Hynes.

Outside work, I lift weights, play guitar, backpack, and study languages.

Outside work

I read a lot of history and tend to get sidetracked on Wikipedia.

I also build lots of random things with AI coding tools, such as a pantry and recipe app, gym and caffeine trackers, and a program that generated variations of a friend’s name. Some are useful. Most aren’t.

Travel & languages

I spent a year studying in Madrid and have visited 32 countries. I speak advanced Spanish, intermediate German, and basic French.

My background

I’m completing an M.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, after earning a B.S. in Statistics and Economics from the University of South Carolina Honors College. My graduate work spans machine learning, empirical evaluation, and software development.

At South Carolina, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant with economic, demographic, and public-health data. The projects covered STEM-worker agglomeration, spatial segregation, and racial disparities in birth outcomes.

At GreyNoise, I analyzed customer retention and lead conversion and worked on finance workflows.
